In response to the demand for a stylish but sturdy luminaire that can withstand all weather conditions, Multiline developed Tube 90: a fully IP65 and IK10 waterproof continuous linear system. The closed polycarbonate profile and protected light module make Tube 90 an absolute must for lighting in public areas or for outdoor lighting.
Tube 90 was originally created as a custom luminaire for train stations of the Dutch railroads. For this project, Multiline supplied no fewer than 621 pieces of the Tube 90 in various lengths. Tube 90 is suitable for more demanding conditions, but remains an aesthetic solution. As a result, it has since become a standard product in Multiline’s range.
A robust IK-10 luminaire
The Tube 90 continuous linear system was first designed as a vandal-proof luminaire that could be seamlessly integrated into ceiling openings. This is why Tube 90 has an IK10 impact resistance rating. Tube 90 is made of a strong coextruded polycarbonate profile. The back and sides of the profile are extruded with a white granulate, which optimally reflects the light due to its shape through the sides. The front side consists of a satin diffuser that ensures homogeneous light emission.
A stylish but waterproof IP65 continuous linear system
Tube 90 has an IP65 protection rating, which makes it resistant to moisture and water from any direction. Perfectly suited for outdoor lighting. All components are protected by means sealed profile, waterproof connections and waterproof end caps.
Tube 90 is the perfect solution for public places such as bus or train stations, car parks, gas stations, etc. For example, the hydrogen fueling station H2Platform in the port area of Antwerp has Tube 90 luminaires in wall-mounted design.
Resistant
The robustness and simplicity of installation make Tube 90 an extremely durable luminaire that can be applied in surface-mounted, trimless recessed or without a secondary profile. To create elegant light line systems, the Tube 90 light modules, available up to a length of 6 meters in one piece, are installed in a custom aluminum surface-mounted or recessed profile in a RAL color of your choice. Optionally, (DALI) sensors can also be integrated into a blind plate between the light modules.
