Working together on signature projects: Mørkhøj Park Skole and Glostrup Shopping Center

Recently, we worked together with System One on two notable projects: Mørkhøj Park Skole, a historic school building, and Glostrup Shopping Center, a modern retail space.

Mørkhøj Park Skole was especially unique due to the building’s heritage status. “It’s not common to find classrooms with wooden slat ceilings,” Anders notes. The challenge was to preserve the original architecture while improving acoustics and aesthetics. Our Rekta 30 profiles integrated seamlessly with the custom wood ceilings, offering a solution that was both functional and visually appealing.

In contrast, Glostrup Shopping Center called for Rekta 40 profiles, chosen for their sleek design and ease of installation. “The slat ceilings in the corridors required a more aesthetic focus,” Anders explains. “Multiline’s solution not only matched the design brief but also offered practical advantages, like easier access for maintenance—no small detail for installers.”
