Sven Goffaux (Lightpoint): “Multiline’s custom profiles empower us to be creative”
Lightpoint, a family-owned company with nearly 50 years of experience, is renowned for its creative and original lighting solutions. One standout example is their transformation of Aarova’s underground parking garage, where they used our Rekta 80 profiles to create a vibrant and dynamic space that blends design with functionality. Sven Goffaux, managing director of Lightpoint, shares how their lighting advisors creatively utilize our custom profiles.
Lightpoint and Multiline: a strong partnership for over 15 years
With a team of 31 employees, including 17 lighting advisors, Lightpoint excels in delivering premium, custom-made lighting solutions. They specialize in unique projects that prioritize both design and functionality, ranging from hospitality and industrial applications to exclusive residential projects. For Sven Goffaux, Multiline’s partnership is invaluable. “What makes Multiline exceptional is their custom-made profiles and their ability to personalize products, whether through specific dimensions or powder coating in unique colors,” explains Sven.
“For clients like Aarova, who place a high value on design and quality, Multiline is the perfect match. Our collaboration spans over 15 years, and their creative custom solutions and technical support have consistently helped us deliver exceptional projects.”
Aarova: from gloomy parking garage to vibrant space
The Aarova lighting project posed a unique challenge. Aarova, a bespoke manufacturing company with a keen eye for design, wanted to transform their underground parking garage into an inspiring space. While parking garages might not typically spark creativity, Lightpoint, together with Multiline, turned the lighting into a true showpiece.
“The parking garage is now a colorful and welcoming space,” Sven explains. “We used Multiline’s Rekta 80 profiles, integrating them into vertical color pillars. The size of the profiles was critical in creating a strong visual impact within the large space.”
The creative concept was developed in collaboration with an interior design firm. The result is a functional space that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who enters. “Aarova places people at the heart of their vision. They believe everyone should feel happy in their surroundings, even in a parking garage,” Sven adds.
The power of customization and collaboration
The choice for Multiline was clear. “Multiline supports us in challenging projects where standard solutions simply aren’t enough,” says Sven. “Their flexible approach and high-quality products give us a competitive edge every time.”
For Aarova, color was a crucial design element. Thanks to Multiline’s in-house powder coating capabilities, the profiles were fully customized to match the client’s aesthetic preferences. The result? A parking garage that is not only functional but also exudes design excellence.

Lighting in Public Buildings: From Cost Item to Sustainable Investment
Lighting in public buildings is often assessed primarily on the basis of standards, budgets and specifications. This is understandable, but not sufficient. Those who focus solely on delivery frequently pay the price later in the form of high maintenance costs, limited flexibility or premature failures. At Multiline, we approach lighting in public buildings as a strategic investment that must continue to perform reliably over the long term.
